summer is gone

Summer is gone.....

This was my summer addictions....yep. Tori & Dean. They are sort of like Martha Stewart....either you love them or hate em'. I Love martha & tori! I also have been addicted to listening to this corky song, over and over and over! So i thought i would share with you!

I guess a better question is....am i ready?

It is pretty sad when your new landlord calls to see how things are coming along? Since he has seen no activity yet. I laughed...then explained this is how i work....i wait till the last minute, actually the last second....

The carpet layers will be there Monday at 9am, I will be there till midnight painting on Sunday. (Sorry, Jenese...I know my goal was to have it done BEFORE CHA!)

Anyways, here is the scoop....

Scrap Happy Clyde AND New Riegel will be closing there doors Saturday, August 30th at 4pm!
This is our last week at both locations. We will then pack up each store and move all the product to one beautiful new store!

We will be closed for a short time to organize everything(Not for a vacation!) We will open our doors for EVERYONE on saturday september 13th!

We are hosting a VIP night, Friday September 12th @ 6pm! This is by invitation only....as of today we have 3 spots left! If you are intersted please contact either store and we will give you the info!

FINALLY...Scrap Happy will be open....7 DAYS A WEEK!
Monday- Friday 10am till 7pm
Saturday 10-4 & Sunday's 12noon till 4pm

how exciting is that? It will be sooooo nice to have a full staff under 1 beautful new store.....
I could not do it without them....Rachel, Kim, Amy, Jenese, Work Suzie, Deb...the Scrap Happy peeps......

Time goes waaaaaaaaaay to fast! So let me catch you up incase ou have not visited the store lately......

July- CHA....for those of you who do not know CHA is the Craft & Hobby Association Show...it comes around two times a year, summer and winter....We do 90% of our ordering there. It is ALOT of work, stressful work...Thank heaven this show there was a car load of us....Jenese, Rachel , "work" Susie(i am scrappin' Susie, incase you were wondering!)& Mardi went along for the ride! We ordered alot of NEW companies plus our favorites....Scenic Route, Basic Grey, Making Memories and MORE!

As we receive new product i will try to take a picture and post it so you all can see.....

Late Night Fun!

If you know me at all, you know i actually do not scrap very much. I have very little time, I usually am trying to do paper work! So when i get stressed i stay up late and get creative!

So last night was one of those LATE evenings.... 2am late. Even Addison tried to stay up with Bailey and I...she lasted till about 1am. Her schedule is way off since our vacation. Here are a few photos of an album i am working on. The album is a new Tinkering Ink Peek-a-boo album, which requires alot of thought since it is a chipboard and acyrlic combined album. The paper and embellishments are from the new beyond the sea collection by heidi grace. Thank heaven for Bailey, she gave me alot of great ideas!

My plans are to finish it tonight at the FREE FRIDAY crop, i will try to post finished pictures Sturday or Sunday.

Here in Florida.....

it is VERY hot! I am not an out doorsy person to begin but it is TOOOO hot. incase you did not know, i am on vacation....I know, I know, I can not take even a week off. everyone is sleeping so I am not missing anything. Everyone is in bed early, we have yet to stay out past 7pm, no fireworks....yet. I will share more when i return, i can not wait, my head is already spinning thinking of all the fun classes i want to do with these photos! So, if you have had the chance to visit the place of a mill;ion dreams get your pictures ready!

anyways, onto the important things.....Are you ready for next weekend? scrap Happy turns 2 and we will be celebrating! Amy is covering for me this week and if you did not know already she likes to get me organized! this means a HUGE clear out sale for all of you! mark your calendars Saturday AND Sunday 11-4! CHA is coming....we need to make room! & remember spend $25.00 or more and receive a FREE ticket to the LARGEST, FANCY, GRAND event EVER!!!!

Wow, wasn't that a fun crop! Not sure about you girls, but I loved the NSD crop we had on Saturday! We all received an awesome Bo Bunny kit and a door prize was won by all. Scrap Happy will be having a crop the 1st Saturday of every month. They can only accommodate 10 happy scrappers, so get your RSVP's in early. Hope to see you at the next one on June 7, 2008, it starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at midnight. Susie will be on a well deserved vacation with her family and I will be hosting the crop!

We will be at the Mega Meet in Novi, MI this weekend, come see us there.

Scrap Happy will be co-sponsoring a "Relay for Life" crop in Findlay on May 16th, all proceeds from the crop with go directly to fighting cancer. There is still room at the $20 crop, contact Jenese E @ 419-429-1500 or call Scrap Happy @ 419-595-2523 for more information!
