Who's scrappin' with me on Friday night?

Hi again,

Just wanted to check in to see who is scrappin' with me on Friday? Are you aware of how much fun we have on Friday night crops at Scrap Happy(New Riegel)? Not sure if we crop or laugh more! It is a great way to meet new friends. I have met some really special friends on Friday nights and I feel if I don't travel down to Scrap Happy every Friday night I will miss out on a night out with those specials friends. Did I mention that it is "free to crop" on Fridays(New Riegel)? All you need to do is call the store at 419-595-2523 ahead of time to reserve your space. Believe it or not, I have forgotten to call ahead and have almost found myself out of a space to crop. Hello, I am the "crazy" Aunt that should have my very own reserved spot without calling ahead, don't you agree?

Addictions...

I have met alot of you over the last almost 2 years.....that i am thankful for. I also have learned alot about you but there is alot about me you do not know. One of those things, is the fact i have an addiction. Not to anything bad.....my addiction is staying up till midnight every week night to watch The Young & the Restless....who would have ever thought? Yes, even on my days off, i know it is on at 12 in the afternoon but that is my time to take a nap with my babies.(yes, i know 2,6,&10 means they are not by definition babies but to me they always will be!) A little about you may not have known....

Are you all planning a trip to Scrap Happy this weekend? If you are, i can not wait to show you all the awesome product that has come in...i want to play so bad....Too much to do though.
If not, why not? the weather is going to be crappy, and WE MISS YOU! We love what we do and want to share our passion with you! Where else can you go and have a such a good time?

Here is a list of reasons why to come...(other than we want you too!)

1. Sign up for our first annual "national scrapbook day" crop, starts saturday. This is limited, less than 10. Crop with us for 12 hours(or more!), we provide food, beverages, door prizes and specials. Bo Bunny has been gracious enough to donate purse class kits for EVERYONE! how cool is that?
2. Register for some pretty creative classes....not just "slap it together" classes. We take alot of time planning and creating our classes. the point of a class is to "teach" you something!
3. Take advantage of our super spring deals....
sneak peak....stamp presses,1 particular new punch!, bobunny double dot paper, QuicKutz and more...
4. Where else can you come and have crazy aunt mardi demo product for you???

i am sure there is more but it has been along day, y&r is over and i have to be back in the shop on 6 hours for a 16 hour day!

It was a great crop!

I don't know what you were doing last Saturday. We were cropping at Bubby's! It was a blast and wow did we receive some cool things from Scrap Happy, thanks to Fiskars! Everyone that attended took home an awesome Fiskars door prize! The day flew by and I personally could not believe where 12 hours went! Jenese's Mom was even there scrapping, which from what I understand is kind of rare. I do a lot of yakking at a crop, but this time I got down to business and have made a great dent in my vacation pictures. If you haven't tried one of Scrap Happy crops, you really need to. You get to meet new friends, make memories, create memories, and then scrap those memories! How fun is that!

Happy Wednesday!!

Happy Wednesday!! I am excited to see that the Scrap Happy blog still has readers! (Thanks Mardi and Stacy!) Lots of cool things have come in the store lately, like new Basic Grey (beautiful!) and Heidi Grace ( more glitter and flock!) , and the adorable Scenic Route rubons and Lynden line are in too! (Will add the images to the store this afternoon!) Make sure to check out the store, www.scraphappyohio.com ....I am always adding new items!

Not everyone knows this, but we at Scrap Happy have a machine called the AccuCut. It is the giant thing in the crop room that cuts the explosion boxes, scalloped cards and envelopes and so many other awesome things! Clyde store doesn't have one yet but I have heard a rumor that it may be coming soon......! (Thanks in part to all the lovers of the explosion boxes we have over here!) We have many examples of the papercraft items that you can cut from it up in the stores and we just got in the Maya Road dies that cut the exact items that you need to make the Modern Purse and other adorable Maya Road goodies. Just pick out your paper to make exactly what you want! Simple and easy! AccuCut also has a craft blog with other great ideas and we wanted to share with you. Go check it out at www.accucut.typepad.com and get the creative juices flowing!

Well, back to work! Susie will think I am having too much fun! (Just kidding, boss lady!!!!) Have to finish the card classes and upload the new goodies. Make sure to stop in this weekend at either store location, Clyde or New Riegel, and take part in our Spring Open House. Door prize, make-n-take and special sales will be going on! The open house will run from 11-4pm on Sat. the 12th and Sun. the 13th. Hope to see you there!

Thank you COLUMBUS!

We had a great time this last weekend... it is hard to believe we have been in business for almost 2 years already.

Going to shows is ALOT of work and i could not do it without my "roadies" (thanks, Mardi, Jen, Rachel and of coarse my Ron) So many people do not understand why we do what we do. Well, I feel this is the best way to put a face to Scrap Happy, hopefully you will come visit and hang out with us!

so, what is new here? (since, I have not posted since OCTOBER??)

We have a crop this weekend at bubby's. the cost is $25.00. you receive lunch, goodie bag, make-n-takes and door prizes. for this crop EVERYONE will receive a door prize. Fiskars was kind enough to donate ALOT of product. 12 hours of not only cropping but laughing as well!!!

We are taking reservations for the all weekend crop in October also!

Well, i must get some sleep, Y&R is almost over and i have alot of unpacking in the morning!

Time to get organized!
